Anyone ages 7 and older interested in developing or deepening awareness of limiting patterns and behaviors, and learning skills that support a more authentic and fulfilling life should take a session or workshop.
No. All programs are non-riding,
Comfortable, weather appropriate clothing and closed toed shoes. For women, we recommend pants or shorts instead of skirts, and flat or very low heeled, closed toed shoes. Flip-flops, sandals, and like type shoes are not permitted.
No prior horse experience is necessary. All of our classes begin with basic horse handling and safety lessons, led by professionally certified facilitators.
Absolutely! In fact, we believe you'll find that your fear will prove effective in breaking through old patterns and revealing important insights. Plus, we'll be there, right beside you with every step.
Many folks who are allergic to horses have participated in our programs. We encourage you to bring your own medication, including an EpiPen if appropriate, to manage your personal condition.
Our facilitators and farm are proud to be certified by the Equine Connection's EAL Academy, to offer certified course curriculums developed at the University of Calgary, and members of the EALNetwork, the only international dedicated EAL governing body in existence. Lojjaden accepts cash, check, credit cards, Paypal, and Venmo. We do not accept insurance, as we are not a therapy organization.
We currently offer classes from May through October, weather permitting. All classes are held out door in our un-covered arena. We don’t work in severe or dangerous weather conditions, including bad thunderstorms, so we may opt to postpone and reschedule your session in these circumstances. We will contact you the day before or the day of if we see something concerning enough to warrant cancellation.
