Children of all ages can get involved on the farm and gain hands-on experience through a variety of programs. These programs cover a wide range of interests and are designed to teach valuable
skills while having a bast!

Kids will learn the basics of horse care through hands-on obstacle courses, games and activities. Walking away with skills, including; grooming, ground handling, safety and horse breed identification. This 4-hour class includes a snack and/or lunch and beverages.
Introduction to the biology of horses and their care, including; interactive activities to learn the basics of horse feeding, equine first aid, how to determine a horse's age and the various types of communication methods. This 4-hour class includes a snack and/or lunch and beverages.
Kids will learn basic horse conformation, judging, safety and horse soundness. Armed with this knowledge, each child will have the opportunity to score our horses and staff to present their findings to the group. This 4-hour class includes a snack and/or lunch and beverages.

Staff to Student ratio is 2:10 - maximum class size is typically 10 kids,
however exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis.
