Through hands-on interaction with horses, your child will develop important life skills, such as; effective communication, enhanced problem solving, proper use of body language and respect for personal boundaries.
During our 6-week course, children ages 7-17 will learn to:
Horses naturally understand how to differentiate between threatening behavior and a calm, assertive nature. Through our life skills development program, your child will learn how to modify their behavior based on the horse's response; these lessons are paralleled to human relationships. The hands-on format promotes faster learning and life-long retention.
Our program is non-riding, so rather than riding horses, your child will partner with them on the ground to develop an armor of important life and relationship skills.
Our BuildingBlock course teaches life skills through positively reinforced interactions with horses. Exercises encourage self-confidence through hands-on experiences. Participants engage in objectively driven exercise while leaning valuable life skills in a fun and unique atmosphere.
Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) is an effective approach to human development that involves activities with horses to promote human physical and mental health. EAL is a hands-on educational experience and a proven, effective life skills teaching tool.
